The Savage® 212/220 Turkey Shotguns are incredibly reliable bolt-action shotguns outfitted specifically for turkey hunting. The 212/220 Turkey is built around the Savage Model 110 rifle action, which is machined from steel and secured 3-dimensionally along its entire length by the AccuStock® internal chassis. The free-floated barrel is secured to the receiver using a Model 110-style locking nut. The barrel comes with a screw-in, extra-full turkey choke (Win. choke thread); and the receiver comes equipped with a 1-piece accessory rail for attaching an aftermarket optic or red-dot sight. The synthetic AccuStock utilizes the AccuFit® system that allows you to adjust the length-of-pull and comb height according to the shooter's size and stature. Sling swivel studs and a rubber recoil pad are standard. The stock features Mossy Oak® Obsession® camo, which disappears into the spring turkey woods. The 212/220 Turkey bolt-action shotguns use Savage's AccuTrigger®, which is user-adjustable for weight of pull to obtain a light, crisp release with no creep. A lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. A 2-shot, detachable magazine allows you to get off a second and third shot quickly, and makes loading and unloading a breeze. A 2-position, ambidextrous tang safety is easily reached with the shooter's thumb, and an oversize bolt knob aids in operation with gloved hands.
